Fees

Emmaus is a non-profit organisation and a registered charity. Although the counsellors are unpaid, we have substantial overheads such as premises and administrative support costs, and hidden costs like insurance. Our Treasurer estimates that each session costs Emmaus £35-£40.

We know that some of our clients, for different reasons, cannot afford to pay this, so an affordable amount is agreed, between £10-£40 per session. The amount may be revised if your circumstances change.

If you are a tax payer you can increase the amount which Emmaus Counselling Service receives, at no cost to yourself, by completing a Gift Aid form. Ask your counsellor for one of these at your first meeting.
